The Surf Coast Shire is undertaking the Painkalac Creek Flood Mitigation and Adaptation Study. This study focuses on the affects of climate change on flooding in the Painkalac Estuary.

The current stage of the project involves gathering data to inform the Flood Study with local knowledge. Surf Coast Shire are working to gain a clear picture and want to know what community members love about Painkalac Creek and their hopes for the Creek's future.
