Welcome to the Painkalac Creek Community Hub
This webpage is a community hub where you can connect with government agencies that play a role in caring for the Painkalac Creek Estuary, located in Aireys Inlet Victoria.
This hub was established in 2024 and is where you can find information on:
- the Painkalac Creek Estuary
- the government agencies and community groups who play a role in caring for the estuary
- the latest updates on management issues and opportunities; and
- connect with government agencies if you have a query or concern.
This hub is curated and managed by the following government agencies who form the Painkalac Creek Agency Working Group:
- Barwon Water
- Corangamite Catchment Management Authority
- EPA Victoria
- Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority
- Surf Coast Shire
Please note that the intent is to trial this community hub and the agency working group for 12 months. We will reassess this approach and its effectiveness, alongside the community in late 2025.
