Land management transfers in Princetown
The Authority has taken on land management responsibility for additional Crown land in Princetown
Management responsibility for some areas in Princetown have transferred to the Authority.
The community should not notice any changes to the level of service in the maintenance of the land transitioning over to the Authority.
We are committed to being transparent and accountable in our management of land for which we have responsibility. This includes working with and listening to the community to understand their views or concerns about land for which management responsibility is transferring.
As part of the Princetown transfer we are seeking to understand the key cultural, social, environmental, and economic values and uses, as well as capturing the community interests and local significance attached to each parcel and asset.

Princetown Recreation Reserve
Princetown Recreation Reserve is a well-loved camping area providing an opportunity for people to come and stay and enjoy the surrounding area. It was managed and cared for by the Princetown Recreation Reserve Volunteer Committee of Management for many years and we thank them for their incredible efforts.
As we navigate the transition of management responsibilities, we look forward to connecting locally and engaging with all who love the Reserve, to plan for its future together.
