Looking Forward Community Events
From late November 2024 until April 2025, we’re inviting locals and visitors to share their knowledge, values, and perspectives about the coast to inform the project.
To start with our staff will be making their way along the coast, attending community markets and events, running drop-in sessions and inviting community members to join us for "walk and talks" along the coast.
We will have our engagement trailer and wave tank in action, sharing key messages and our approach to coastal adaptation, and importantly, we'll be hearing from you.
In February and March 2025, we will be running community workshops, doing school visits and some other cool activities.
We can't be everywhere at once, but we are looking to make it to all of the wonderful communities along the coast at least a couple of times each before the end of March 2025.
We will then be back in May and June 2025 to share with you what we have heard and what we have learnt, sharing these reflections via a series of roadshow events and video updates.
