Coastal Care for Lorne: Community Webinar

In association with Friends of Lorne, Friends of Queens Park and Lorne Care, Great Ocean Road Coast & Parks Authority invites you to a special community webinar exploring the Coastal Vegetation Strategy and how it’s being implemented across Lorne. From weed management and revegetation to habitat enhancement, this presentation will walk you through current projects at Doug Stirling Track, Bert Alsop, Erskine River, Stoney Creek, and Queens Park - plus updates on Hooded Plover protection efforts.

This online seminar is a direct response to community interest in the broader conservation strategy and how key areas are being monitored and managed. It’s a valuable opportunity to see how our shared efforts are shaping the local landscape, and to celebrate Lorne Care & Friends of Queens Park Working Bees and the impact of volunteer stewardship whilst exploring opportunities to participate in volunteer activities and assist the Authority in contributing to environmental objectives.
